In Dependence Day

Oh, say can you see by the phones’ cyborg eye,

What so proudly we hailed, is now electronically veiled?

Okay, I’ll not continue this Star Spangled Banana.   Interesting though, how many of us must augment our memory, yet replace the actual experience, with the virtual monocle that so commonly filters our world for us.  And here am I, putting this  as a marker for my own mind.  Certainly an experience to remember, loud, bright- yet archetypal.  I wonder how many of my own memories will blend with pictures I’ve seen like this, television shows, and other collective experience melding.  I throw this out there then,  into our collective electronic consciousness, and swear I can quite taking pictures at any time.  Really I can.

Warm Marble Statues

DC day one on my Golden ticket.
